Who used to watch Thunderbirds as a kid ? I did, I love the T-Birds :) Movie comes out July 30
When I was 7 or 8, I made all those models & had character figures. I saw the preview of the film in Japan, and looked good. I don't remember much as I haven't seen them for more than 30 years now, but still this is the movie I must see this summer. Isn't "Thunderbird" English program??
I grew up watching these guys every year, because my dad was a career fighter jock and knew several of the pilots over the years. They are among the best in the world and put a new defintion to the word discipline. Brad
Are you kidding me? I LOVED the Thunderbirds!! How cool is this? DL ps. Brad..the TV series, not the Air Force squadron.
When I saw that it would be real actors and not the cool puppets/models I was pretty bummed out. Pass.
Ooops... wrong Thunderbirds! My brothers grew up watching this show and I grew up watching the real Air Force T-Birds. Boy am I old! Brad
too bad there aren't many other people who feel the same way. it looks like it's going to lose a lot money
Yeah, it is REALLY too bad. Reviews in newspapers & magazines were pretty bad, and young moviegoers may not be interested in this OLD movie. (my kids said this when I asked) I just hope it'll do good on other countries.
While I sighed in disbelief at the trailer, I think this will probably do well on video and make it's money back. Little kids will like to have it I think.
I watched the original with the marionettes. I took my 6 and 8 yo boys to see the movie this weekend and they loved it. My 6yo ranks the Thunderbirds with PowerRangers and Rescue Heroes. steve
