Is your ex selling? ;) (I've been looking for a 3 car garage in the area, as I'm moving there next month. (see garage thread under regional))

There are a number of "Public Storage" self-storage locations around N.VA. A 10x20 runs $200-$300 per month, depending on which location.

FWIW, I left my Alfa in a similar storage location in Virginia Beach for three years without a problem. (Other than humidity and electrical connectors -- and the usual Alfa disused clutch master cyl seals issue)
(Heavy rains made for a wet floor at that location (Mil Hwy), so don't store books on the lowest row of boxes.)
