Dudes, Whats the going rate for a pair of tubi test pipes on a 355 (fitted & CATS removed)? I've got a quote near 375 (this includes VAT and fitting). What about manifold replacements? (QV or other bespoke) I've got a quote near 1200 for one side (this includes VAT and fitting) Cheers guys Ade
FROM VERDI______________________ F355 Exchange manifolds £1175 + vat each side, fitted with 2 year guarantee, (MRP price for manifold alone is £1600 + vat each side)
Yes, because there's no such thing as commosion. Isn't that what you do, " one who excites or takes part in a commotion;one who stirs up tumult or rebellion" Do you mean commission?
dave is laid up at the moment he has had dinner here and he sat at my place and got my plate he is now on the sette bloated [thats a sofa to you southern posh gits]and i am just waiting for pudding brrrrp excuse me
Thanks for the prices. It seems the quote I have is a satisfactory one. I just wanted the check if there was anything exceptionally cheaper out there... The one I'm going to put on the right hand side is not Ferrari or a QV creation. I'm going to take a look at it, but apparently its even better integrated with the original Ferrari outer cover than QVs, and uses thicker stainless than QV. Hopefully a winner. Ade
Ade IIRC QV ones are around £600 plus VAT plus fitting (rhs around 5 hours, lhs around 2 hours) Is it the Quicksilver ones you are looking at? if so I believe they are remanufactured by the same company as QV's
Ade Forgot to mention earlier that your 355 was spitting flames during gear changes when we were razzing it down the M3 after the karting. They weren't big ones and they were only coming out of the left exhaust but I could definitely have lit a cigar with em
HA HA! I LOVE the flames, glad to hear I'm spitting 'em out occasionally. The left side doesn't have a CAT, so that sounds about right Graham with it just being on one side. My car is currently at the garage having the test pipes put on.... I hope this adds to the effect!!! I'm thinking my engine might be running richer at the moment due to a small manifold crack (ECU might compensate?), does anyone know whether an engine running richer will backfire and dump unignited fuel into the exhaust more often? Ade
ha ha very true. I can only hope to aspire in the future to those beautiful 2 foot flames! Lets see what happens after a bit of ECU tweaking
