    Agreed but what you buy here is nostalgia, your youth, the memories as sad as all these can be when reduced to a TV series...

    I bet alot of ferraris have been sold to the 30somethings of the back of watching the Magnum Pi tv show. Though few will admit to it. When i had my 328 95% of the guys who saw it said "magnum pi", i think the show did ferrari no harm but good.....If i was in the position to own it, i would in a hart beat, as i would the TR from Miami vice and the Daytona spider from the film Gumball.

    The Ferrari has 'only' 87k miles on the odometer. Hey, at least they bought it to drive it...

    gee, which 'one' of the Magnum cars is up for sale?? I believe they actually used two cars during the show's run, a QV later on and either a GTSi or 308GTS carb car earlier on...

    I watched, years ago, an entertainment tonight segment talking with larry manetti aka "rick" who had just purchased one of the shows cars and was beating on it at what looked like an autoX event.

    I spoke to the dealer there several years ago and he mentioned about 8-10 cars used in the show...he still gets calls " Ive got THE car!" He replies what?

    Funny though...on the set of Ispy I ran into the guy who played the valet at the club and parked the cars. He said they had blocks on the pedals for him as he was slightly verticaly challenged. He did that show for years and I stayed up till the wee hours to check out his performance on an old episode.

    This car is worth what it is worth...not much.
