First off, I want to thank all of you for the valuable info on these pages. Any info on this vehicle would be much appreciated. The owner lived in San Jose, CA and serviced the vehicle at Silicon Valley Group Ferrari of Los Gatos..formerly. VIN# ZFFPR41A2S0102469. I am having the vehicle shipped to Los Gatos for a PPI from FSF. The vehicle which I am getting is a 1995 F355B Red/tan Miles: 25XXX F50 front brakes Tubi Valve Guide & 30K service completed last april New tires, slight dash issues other than that is looks OK. If anyone knows of anything that might be of concern I appreciate your thoughts. Thanks again! -Armen
She looks perfect the brakes are a real + only thing I would change is I would go with some different floor mats to match the original carpet more without any graphics or lettering.
Those lines in the mats are from the detailer's shampoo head or vacuum head when it was passed over the mat each time. Congrats...nice car.
Looks like you have an extra option (Drilled Rotors) as well.. Looks nice! I am wondering if they updated the breaks as well - or if the car was tracked?
Thanks guys I appreciate your thoughts. I can not wait to take delivery.! On the test drive I forgot to even see if the radio or air condition worked, I was too busy listening to everything going on behind me with the tubi. -A
Armen the only thing I would suggest is watch out for the Cats and Exhaust Manifold in the long run. Since you have had the Valve Guides done it should be fine.
I know that, The mats are still a lighter shade then the original carpet and there not as plush. But the car looks mint.
Thanks to all, just as a FYI to all the PM's I am getting, I got the vehicle for $72K. I guess a good deal is a state of mind. I think this is fair but if you have thoughst let me know, I appreciate all comments.
Congratulations! She looks brand-spanking new. How well does thew gearbox work in the 355? Always wondered. -Doug
Thats what I ment the type of carpets you have in your 355 is that right down to the base carpet or is that a mat over the base carpet. ? 355b the interior is prestine in your 355.
thank you, its a mat over the base carpet, but its not some thick after market rubbish its just a nice subtle OME mat, IMO its much nicer than big Horses all over the floor........
I just saw this car this morning at Ferrari of S.F. service. I dropped my car of this morning for new cats (under warranty). In fact, the car pulled up as I got out of mine. I'll confess... I knew the driver who brought it over and I opend it up inside. My opinion, the dash board needs to be replaced, it was torn above the air bag. The drivers door had a (normal) drop when you opened it. The rest of the car looked good. Funny though, I saw this car on Ferrari Challenge weekend at sonoma...the owner (young man no more than late 20's had a for sale sign in the window asking $67K.) I remember he lived in brentwood and he posted pixs of him picking it up at Ferrari of S.F. Hope this helps. Mario
Armen, I checked that car out last week. Looks to me like you got a good car. Hope the ppi checks out. Mario, I know your car too, recognize it from the pic and former SF owner. Very nice car.
I When I looked the vehicle the leather above the steering wheel was not looking to hot, but I did not notice the airbag issue. Nor the door drop when you open it. The car is being shipped down tomorrow morning to Silicon Valley Auto Group for the PPI.
