If you mean the stock 328 muffler you can use the price for a new one at FerrariUK for a starting reference (but there isn't much demand for the stock systems so I'd take that into account and discount heavily from there).

OEM ones have an "interesting" value. Some cannot get rid of them for anything, others ask stupid asking prices for them.

    As is here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/sponsors.php

Ferrari UK has been entrusted by the Ferrari factory to be guardians of the marque for world-wide parts distribution for vehicles which have been out of production for ten or more years. Ferrari UK have the largest stock of parts in the world for these models and are in a unique position, being able to remanufacture Ferrari spare parts from the original drawings and specifications with the full authority of Ferrari SpA. http://www.ferrari.co.uk/parts/index.asp

Also, you might want to check ebay under completed auctions to see what other oem exhausts are going for. Good luck!

jester1 -- I checked the new prices for the 328 silencers at FerrariUK, and I'm not so sure now they are that valuable to know (they are just so wacky):

    US version = $2,944
    CH version = $2,358
    Std version = $1,974

(that's just the part cost -- no shipping, no duty, etc.)

I wouldn't go more than ~$500 for a used stock unit. For every Tubi, Borla, etc. that gets put on a 328, another stock unit just starts collecting dust since it doesn't fit anything else other than another 328 -- the only thing probably less valuable than a stock 328 silencer is a stock TR silencer ;). It seems that, with everyone going with a Tubi, the dealers have just too many "stock" exhausts just sitting in storage, with no demand.

I had a Tubi on my TR, and wanted a stock exhaust........just to keep, if someone later bought the car and demanded it to be stock. Well, the dealer gave me one, FREE, and stated he was glad to get rid of it!!!!!!!!

Conversely, does anyone know the value of a SS Borla muffler for a 328? How about the aftermarket rear header its attached to?
