    Stig,
cool. Peter drives this car for Harry Leventis and he's pretty handy on the track.

Just the opportunity to get close to this one with my camera would be good enough reason to go. Is there good paddock availablility, or is "who ya know"?

You have to be a member of the Goodwood Road Racing Club to get full paddock access, and you have to wear period dress (shirt & tie/cravat, no jeans, jacket, preferably hat).

There is public access to the area around the paddock and you can lean over the fence and get a good look at a lot of the cars due to the layout, or see them close-up as they go out to the assembly area or come in after practise/races.

And it's the best circuit around for race photography, quite close to the action at most corners and no wire fences interrupting the view.

    Be there or be square!

You can have full paddock access but you must wear a jacket and tie or they wont let you in.

Been the last three years - great day better than the Festival IMO.

If you have a pre 65 car you can park in an exclusive parking area - you could spend a day just walking around this area!

    Cheers

Thanks for info , Paul. Is it realistic to hope for a drive with Peter or do you have be designated "co driver" or whatever to get on track?

Tony thats a 330 P3, from 1966, The Revival meeting is for pre 1952 formula cars.

You won't see that there, you will see GTO's and single seaters, but not a P3.

If you haven't been before get paddock passes, superb.

Thanks Mark. I guess Mr Leventis has a pre 1952 car as well as i've had email confirmation Peter is there for the 3 days of Revival. I'll try and find out what car he's bringing. :)

According to the Goodwood website, the vintage of the cars goes well up into the 60s....

I Peter Hardman drove a 250 GTO there last year, amongst others, but I may be wrong, it could have been a 330. He was awesome round Woodcote.

I agre that the revival is better than the festival. I'll be there for all three days but sadly I'm not a GRRC member yet (on wait list which is three years long!) so can't get into the paddock albeit that a pal get me in there last year.

A P3 is a beautiful car and probably a superb experience to get a ride in, but these two are just as well! IMHO the 330LMB is even more gorgeous than the GTO. I absolutely love that car!
