Given to me by a former coworker years ago. I got the idea to dye my hair blonde for the summer just for the hell of it then came into work with a black t-shirt and jeans on one day and the first thing she said: "Hey, you look like that cartoon Johnny Bravo (the pic in my avatar)". Even though I came to my senses and my hair is back to a normal color the nickname stuck. :D

One of my favorite movies is 'The Great Santini', about a Marine fighter pilot (played by Robert Duvall). Military flight simulators are one of my hobbies and Santini is the name I use in those as well.

The kids in my practice, because they are so young, often cannot say my last name. So, they just use the initial for my last name. This is fairly common in pediatrics.

    Jordan - love those pictures.

I rebuild wrecked cars. Part time anyway. Sounded better than restoration tech.

Mine goes back to a nickname my best friend gave my mom's car I drove when I was in High School. So every car I have owned since has been named "The Bad Chariot", so I guess it's an inside joke with my friends.

The name came from a cheesy 80's movie "Ice Pirates" with Robert Urich. The robot pimp was trying to get these ice pirates to come with him and said something to the effect of " You need the water? I got it! You need the bunnies? I got it. You need a ride? Here be my Bad Chariot!"

    So that's my story!

Nothing spectacular for me. People butcher the spelling and pronunciation of my name "Pfeffer" constantly. It's German for pepper. Most people make it into Pfeiffer like Michelle Pfeiffer. Almost no one uses my first name, Mark either so it's "Feffman". One downside, it won't fit on a Missouri personalised license plate without dropping at least one "f".

I have a repair guy who works on my printing presses.

Every conversational sentence ends with "n stuff". i.e., "I have to go to my car and grab a wrench n stuff." or, "I have to go to the bathroom n stuff.", or, "This press is busted n stuff." So, he became "Hank n stuff".

I adopted the "n stuff" back when I sold a lot of "stuff" on ebay, and I've kept it ever since.

"DM", my initials, "n_stuff" an omage to Hank the press repairman.

BTW, Hank is a superior mechanic.
