Your local Jag dealer will sell connolly hide food.

Alternatively, try Zymol Treat from www.vertar.com I really rate this stuff over others. The Zymol cleaner is good too.

    Dear Comrade Steve M8,

When you said 'Horse Shop' was it that you were meaning a 'Ferrari' dealer?

    With kind regards,

The Original 512 Tea Are - Tea Arse (who has since blown away all the miscreant imposters to his crown via the kindness and total altruism of his good friend and colleague, Toeknee Hopskins M8)

Given that you have never met Tony how is he your "good friend". You may very well be offending him by claiming this ?

zymol leather treat is what you want.

An ex connoly employee tols me NOT to use connoly food on later leather with waterbased top coat( which they all are after about 95) it destroys the finish in time

The stuff is actually for my jag, but the local jag dealer does'nt sell it. Apparantly, the Connolly company has shut down.

The croftgate stuff is made by the people who make leather dye for Rolls and Bentley as well as the Jaguar Daimler heritage.

but the Zymol stuff smells great (sort of like a creamy banana smell)

I've used the Zymol leather cleaner and Treat on my BMW's leather- it is a 50k mile car, and the seat was really improved. It reduced the shine on the leather, and seemed to restore the texture and smell to a certain extent. I use it on the 355 too and that looks great.

    Robert.

I know your'e gonna turn your nose up at this, and think to yourself "one day this pratt will come up with something either useful or interesting".....well I'm sorry, today isn't going to be the day because:

I have used for many years, ikea leather suite cleaner and "food" on both gina and my bike leathers..... it costs 50p for loads, and whilst it continues to do the job, the zymol leather treat will stay unopened in the cupboard.

    cheers, d

    Hello from overseas...

I have connolly hide food but don't use it... instead, I use Auto Glym leather conditioner for my 456 GT... it's a great product and not very harsh at all.

Just curious - shouldn't a connolly product be compatible with cars equipped with connolly leather, regardless of year? The reason I ask is b/c the 456GT has connolly leather interior, right?

    Thanks,
    Byron
