Hi. I have a 1989 Mondial T Cabriolet. Each day the speedometer starts out fine, but as the car warms up, it gets flaky. Does anyone have any suggestions? Where is the sender unit on this car?

    Thanks for your help

I experience the same effect but it never bothered me. Nevertheless I am curious whether there is a solution to this issue.

More than likely the sender unit (number 2 in pictures), which is mounted on the L/H side cover on the gearbox.

Depending on the type of gearbox casing you have (there are two different types) the location is slightly different - see pictures below.

Malcolm is no longer involved with Ferraris but try looking or asking in the mondial section as speedo sender is a regular Ferrari issue
