These are some pics of my 1/18 Ferrari diecast collection. I've already 51 Ferraris, and a 1996 F310 is on the way. I've been collecting since 1988, when i was 9 y.o.. Right now, i'm near to 25. I've modified some of them, like the 348 GT, the F50 GT, and some more.
    I hope you'll like it.
    Thanks.

What is that F40 Barchetta type thing, next to the 333?

    Thanks a lot.
It's a F40 Spyder Beurlys. It should be done in yellow, but, after a lot of problems with yellow paint, i decided to use rosso corsa paint.

So it´s a Belgian car I take it. Never heard of it. Looks interesting though! Could you post some pics specifically of that car?

Absolutly great collection. I love the F50 GT, the 550 GTS, the Pilot F40 GTE, the 312 PB, the 333, and, well, many more. I don´t suppose you keep em in the hallway all the time. Do you have a showcase cabinet or anything?

    Thanks again.
Yeah, i'll show you some pics of that F40 as soon as i can. It's a Bburago F40 modified.
I still don't have a showcase cabinet, but i'm looking for one. I'm tired of clearing the dust...
Right now, i'm "showing" my collection in my room, so i'll post some pics of this too.

...and those are the pics from my room.
I know that i should get a showcase cabinet, but i still haven't found one that convince me. By now, i'm looking for models that i couldn't find in shops (like the Minichamps F310 from 1996 that i mentioned before).
    I hope you'll like it.

The Beurlys F40 looks amazing. Did you modify it yourself??
If the 288 GTO is a Bburago, this one also has undergone some improvements since it left the shop :D

    Thanks to all!!

GTE, yes, the F40 Spyder Beurlys has been modified by myself. Like the 348 GT, the F50 GT, the 250 P and the F40 LM. I would like to modify an 360 (to make a 360 N-GT), and i'm trying, like Tifosi12, to make a 575 GTC, from a Maisto 550 base. The 288 GTO is a Bburago, but with a bit of paint here and there, it looks much better...

Tifosi12, i saw your F40 Spyder. It's wonderful. I would like to paint mine in yellow, but i've a lot of troubles with the paint. You've done a great job.
This is the most difficult modification i've done by now. I hope that your 575 GTC would look OK, and i hope too that you'll post pics here!!!

The paint job was very difficult, true. Especially since the underlying color is red. So what you need to do is first spray the model with a primer like light grey. Then spray it with yellow. But be careful, too many layers and the paint will start to wrinkle.

The red stripes were then later on painted on with a brush and marker.

The 575 GTC project is not coming for a while, got lots of other projects before that. Currently working on a kit of a Ferrari 712 Can Am in 1/18 scale. So far actually quite easy as you get all the parts and don't have to scratch build...
    :)

...and of course I still have to modify my F40 LM into the real deal with the LM hood etc as is yours.

PS: Is that a Michelotto F348? The one with the black wing. Got more pics of that car?

Tifosi12. Yes, it's the Michelotto F348 GT. I'll show you later some pics of that car. It was the first car that i've modified. Please, when you finish the 712 Can Am, show us. I really like that car. If you don't mind, where did you get the 712 kit?, and the most important... how much did it cost?. I'm sure that you have a great collection too.

Martín, muchas gracias por tus palabras de apoyo. La verdad es que me ha costado mucho el conseguir esta colección, y espero que pueda seguir creciendo. Muchas gracias, de corazón.

Please post some pics of the 348. Sounds like a fun project for me as well. Also if you have pics of the original car.

Source for the Can Am car:

Ain't cheap at $ 175 UNBUILT, but the kit is great. All metal and resin, so not as simple as a plastic kit, but manageable. Very basic instructions so all in all for the "advanced" modeller.
    :)

    GTE,
the chopped F40 mentioned isn't an actual F 40. It was developed in 1993 using a F40 as a base. A bi-turbo V8 of 2.936cc producing 650 hp @ 7500 rpm sits in the back. A total weight of 960 kg. Specially made on order of Mr Blaton by an Italian-Swiss team, under supervision of Argentinian Mario Navarete and former technicians from the Coloni F1 team. Using a Hewland 5 speed box and a V8 biturbo engine relates it to a F 40. The engine is attached to the cage for overall stiffness. Suspension uses F1 technology.

I love that 512! With a little bit of paint it would actually look darn real.

If you ever come across another one, let me know please...

If you are talking about the blue F40, that looks like a bBurago conversion. There are a number of companies that issue kits, or sell completed models. All the ones I know are in Italy.

The Robustelli trans kit that I just posted a picture of had 3 possible kits that I am aware of. The 288 GTO, F40 Alesi Imsa, and this F40 Artsports.

A good place to see these bBuragos rebuilt is/was the models store in Maranello just across the parking lot from the Ferrari Galleria. They always had 1/2 dozen different variations everytime Ive been there
