Now this is a fun event, even if you aren't a redneck.

    http://www.sussex-county-fair.org

    August 8th 8:00 & Aug 9th 7:30pm

Here you can see a 90 Cadillac Deville run straight pipes from the heads out the hood. Now that's loud! Belching fire & exhaust gas aooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Honda's running around bouncing off the walls!
Perhaps we can enter JC in the event with a Talon!

I know you need to pay for entrance to park
the rest of the fair (animals, crafts, standard carnival rides, etc) and a special fee for the Derby. Maybe $20 all together. The general fair may not be of interest, but the demolition is a hoot!

if I recall correctly it is just a PIA to get there, going up 15 is fine but when it narrows it becomes a long line of cars :(

Just like the Ren festival, you need to go early. Then there's no problem.
    Otherwise, you are right.

It is a pain in the ass to get there. I live about 15 minutes north of there and commute every day to Clifton.

I had in-laws on Quarryville rd. Sound familiar?

All though the back roads are wonderfully rising & falling with interesting twists, they aren't always in the best of condition for Ferrari runs. I had the fcar up there last year for the demolision derby. parking on a rutty field wasn't too much fun.

ok I know where that is, clyde, yeah I have not taken the f-car up there yet - partly because our house is at the end of dirt road, that said very little coppers up there, stop signs are more like yields :)

I think Fishbulb would come out looking a little worse for wear than NayNay's.

You could, however, enter a Talon or better...Lincoln Continental as the FerrariChat entry :)

FYI... the parking lot is a simple grassy field with no lines... its always muddy and messy. I wldnt drive a car to the fair that I really cared abt.

Wife and I have gone severals times over the years.
