It says you must measure the sound at 2500 RPMs. Good thing Ferraris dont get too loud untill 3 times that.
A Harley will make a lot of noise at 2500 RPM but not most sport bikes, and certainly a Ferrari is nowhere near the "noise band" at 2500. That's barely above an idle. Seems like they need a better way to pick where to measure the noise! Personally, I can see why people are PO'd. The Harley riders around here often have exhaust systems that make the Ansa on my 308 seem whisper quiet. Birdman
