I was rather bummed to hear about Brosnans departure as I appreciated his portrayals of the most famous Britt the most.

Of the options listed in the article, who do you feel would fill the shoes the best?

My personal favorites are Clive Owen, Hugh Grant and Hugh Jackman.

I think we really need to see them all in a tux, behind the wheel of an Aston to REALLY figure it out.

Most definately Clive Owen. He is very British and a very good actor who has great range. Only thing he needs to do is beef up a bit IMHO.

Quentin Tarantino was on the Tonight Show last Wed. or Thurs., and told Jay Leno that he would like to write and direct a new James Bond project. I hope he does; the Bond franchise has needed a complete overhaul that goes way beyond a getting a new leading man for a long time. It's still great material - I've revisited a few Ian Fleming books in the last couple of years and they are good. I think the last Bond movie I saw(rented) was Goldeneye and it was just a tired and boring replay of the same stuff - James Bond vs. some Dr. Evil or other, hot babes, explosions, and plenty of gadgets.

Yeah, you're right, I need to see a couple of Bonds since Goldeneye-that was late 90's, I think. Maybe it was a low point.

I just think the whole James Bond movie formula has become stale over 40+ years. Ian Fleming's Bond character still has huge potential, just needs a creative jump start, and Tarantino could be the ideal director to give it that.

Hmm. I really like Clive Owen, but I think his features are too rounded and jawline too soft.

Hugh Jackman is an interesting thought... even though I look at him and think of Gary Sinise.

I personally think they should let the franchise cool off a little and give it a few years before the next movie. There's probably McDonalds' trying to give away toys still from the last one.

Dalton was a horrid Bond. Brosnan was best by far. The epitomy of 007.

Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bond) - he does already have an Aston.
    Jeff Foxwothy (Jimmy Bob Bond)
    William Hung (She bonds!)
    Gerard Depardieu (Hey, he's french..)
    Snoop Dog (Double o Shizzle)

    My choice for Bond:
Billy Connolly - it's time Bond had a Scottish accent again!

I heard Ben Stiller was going to be the next Bond.

He's in every other movie out this year.

I would like to see Ewan McGregor or Hugh Jackman, the only problem with them 2 is that they seem to look a little to young, nothing that a little make up cant fix though. Ive never seen this Clive guy in action so i cant pass judgement on him.

    Best to worst:

    1. Connery
    2. Brosnan
    3. Moore
    4. Lazenby
    5. Dalton

Next Bond should be McGregor, a Scotsman. Ever hear his Connery impersonation (see Trainspotting)?

Go see King Arthur. Pretty decent movie, and Kiera Knightley in war paint definately makes it worth it.
