Rather dissapointing, 560hp, twin supercharged, $60,000+ in mods, and a 12.1@118 in the 1/4. Meaning any old Viper Srt+Gts, Porsche 996TT x-50, Gt2, Murcielago, Diablo would still eat it up.

Looks like it just might match a 500hp Gallardo.

Either they can't keep the wheels on the ground or the guy don't know how to drive. A 420HP stradale could do the same time 12.1.

  3. Definently a light car with 560hp would definetly do better then that. Need better test drivers.

Thats odd, wasnt there some guy on the forums that said he talked to Claus' wife who told him the car ran low 3's 0-60? I hope for the sake of Novitec, that CEC allows another test of their car.

They said the F1 tranny was impossible to launch so they had to bog and go, because of excessive wheel spin, or the car would've easily run the quarter in the 11's.

I got 13.5 in mine and could have been quicker. Its a standard 360 apart from tubi. If i had let some air out of the tyres and had traction control on i think i would have done under 13.

With that amount of power i thought it would have been quicker

Novitec vastly overrates its 360's horsepower, as indicated by the 118 MPH trap speed (a standard barometer of hp). Their test vehicle is making 470 hp, max. Not at all worth the total package price of over $100k!

That was me. Actually, my best friend, who's Claus' neighbor, spoke with her. I was really disappointed when I read the article. Given the specs of the car and the improvements, I'm sure something is wrong. CEC better hope so.

Forza is supposed to test the supersport version sometime. They were going to do a test a while back but it snowed the day of the test.

The 118mph terminal velocity suggests power in the range 450-480hp. This has nothing to do with bogging off the line, just a lack of horsepower.

What tires were they running? And how fresh were those tires?

Dont forget the loss in value (at resale) after doing engine mods.
