Current plan is to allocate 15 of the 20 spots for Ferraris, Maseratis and Lamborghinis, and the other 5 spots for other sports cars. We may adjust that as the event gets nearer if we still have room.

We usually end up with a waiting list, so I suggest you reserve your spot EARLY! $179 for FCA members, $199 for non-FCA members.

Wow, that's a great deal. Is this an open run event & how many hours of track time to you get?

If you and your car can stand it, you can be on the track for 5-6 hours!!! With no more than 20 cars, we'll get to drive ALL DAY without worrying about "run groups", putting 5 or 6 cars on the track at a time. Other than first thing in the morning, that usually results in waiting no more than 3-5 minutes before getting on the track when you're ready to go out!

    Mike,

A friend of mine would like a spot if possible. He recently got his '98 Supra back and is interested in seeing how it runs on a road course with the new suspension goodies / cage. Last time was awesome! :)

He can request one of the non-Ferrari spots from Tommy.

A note to all: Last time at TGPR we were a bit "flexible" on the helmets, as several folks (especially the non-Ferrari people) brought M-rated (motorcycle) or plain DOT-rated helmets instead of the proper SA-Rated helmets. If you're not sure, look inside under the headliner. You can see what the sticker is supposed to look like at www.smf.org/cert.html. This time if a helmet doesn't have the original SA-95 or SA-2000 sticker inside, you'll NOT be allowed on the track with it. You can get an SA-rated helmet for as little as $150 if you need one. See the notes at
    www.TradeTutor.com/tgpr/ for details.

Good post about the helmets, we will be properly equipped this time for sure.

I'll contact Tommy and see what he says about the possiblity of getting one of the non-Ferrari slots.

I sent Tommy an email. Ill bring the Daytona if Bo Pirkle has it done. However, Ill also bring the 911S and would probably drive it on track the most as its much better suited.

I believe there are just 2 or 3 spots left out of the 20 (I'll call Tommy Cosgrove today at his office and confirm that). This late in the registration, yes, any sports car is welcome. They can contact me (contact info at www.fca-se.com) if they don't get an immediate response from Tommy and I'll get them in .

Great! Have you been to that track before?

I'm sure Tommy told you to download a Tech Inspection sheet from www.fca-se.com/tgpr and have it completed and bring it with you...

Yes I was at Little Tally once with Siegel Racing for his HPDE School. I like the track alot, even though its pretty hard on the brakes. I've also driven Road Atl through Panoz School. Tommy got me the tech form and the liability form. Above I noted that an M-rated helmet won't do, which is fine. Are long sleaves required? Any other requirements I should be aware of?

Long sleeves are preferred, but not required. Cotton on cotton blend pants and leather shoes (tennis shoes are acceptable). There's more info at
    www.fca-se.com/tgpr

    See you there!
