Would love a 330GT 2+2 or a 365GT 2+2 but she who looks too closely at the bank account has banned me from them on the grounds of "real ferraris only have 2 seats". A lovely old girl you have there, treat her well.

Oh yeah....and looking at the interior of the 330 dont you wish Ferrari had remember how to produce a classy looking interior instead of cheap tacky crap they put in them these days?

The 330 has about 46,000 miles. Although I cant be 100% sure about the milage, I do have almost a complete ownership history, and reviewing that and the condition of the car in general the mileage is believable. It just has "good bones" about it. It is a completely original car that because of being around for 38 years underwent some refurbishing (paint and leather redye) but otherwise the rest is 38 years old. When I look at those parts- dash, headliner, carpets, trunk etc, thet are in amazingly good shape. The chrome is good too. Despite the new paint and redye leather, overall the car looks well balanced ie it is not obvious one part of the car is nicer than the rest-perfect. Strangely what I like is the paint job is driver quality only so it doesnt look over done.

The 328 has 51,000 miles and is national show winner. I will be putting more miles on the 330 than the 328, as I want to keep the 328 perfect show quality- but I do drive the 328 about 2500 miles a year so it always runs perfectly.

To answer some questions:

Victory, yes that is the original color (this was the first repaint). It is not listed in Original Ferrari V12 as a standard color so it was special ordered as was the perforated leather seats.

Wax, thanks. Interesting thought: 328+330+M3<new 360 cost wise (but none could keep up with the 360)

David, yes they fixed everything. I honestly havent found one thing that needs immediate attention

I bought the car from Fuzzy at Exoticars Pittsburgh- Obviously I HIGHLY recommend him.

A 330 GT 2+2 is the first Ferrari I ever owned.

That was in the late 60's and I still miss it.

I share the same sentiments as the others. May I ask if putting the car
on the lift is a one-man job?

The lift is easy. Drive on. Remove ramps. Raise the car by pushing a button to above the desired lock height. Then lower it on the locks. Drive 2nd car underneath!

Indeed the red carpet is original. Steve Barney, formerly of Foreign Cars Italia was known for putting red carpets in 328s (This is where the car originated).

 

Red carpets... Well Dan, that explains it, my car was also purchased from Foreign Cars Italia.
