After putting my lights on, the number/license plate lights do not work. I have checked the bulbs and the fuse but both are OK. What next? I have an F355 berlinetta (1995 model)

If the bumper has been off for any reason they often don't get plugged back in. There is a connector under the bumper on the right side, behind the wheel (one of two). Check that, also gives you a good place to ck for power. The other plug is for the side marker.

harness could be bad as well and may need a new assembly. Do you have a tester with a light or a voltage meter?

Just investigated, power is going to the lights themselves but they are not coming on. I think it may well be the extensive rust on them that is causing the fault.
