Henry, according to my database, a 2000 550, with the 30k service should retail for between $130k and $140k. The average mileage is around 9k. But again, mileage doesn't count as much as condition, condition, condition.

See me a PM with an email address if you would like to have a copy of the database.

Been hearing of a lot more newish Ferraris with miles lately.

    Trend or quirk?

I think that FMV should be about $110-115 or so. It depends on the condition and when the service was completed, though.

i think that's too low, sherpa23. what do you base that on? i know of a 2000 with 10K miles that sold for around the good doctor's numbers only a couple weeks ago.

I think a car with low miles (under 10K) in excellent condition would fetch between 130K to 145K. A dealer may pay 125 to 130K as a trade in value. There are many cars listed for sale by dealers for around 140 to 150K. I think if you can find a perfect car with low miles and pay arounf 130K, you have gotten a good deal.
Dr. Tax is pretty close with his numbers. The hard part is finding a dealer willing to sell the car close to wholesale.
