Has anyone put the 3M or similar clear film protection on their 246 gts? If yes, which product did you use and were you satisfied with the results. I am thinking of having this done although I have not realy noticed any chipping on the front as of yet. Is it possible that the shape of these cars minimizes this kind of damage?
Dunno. My 60K mile dino, with 25 yr old paint has a few, 1/2 dozen maybe, on the underside of the front valance, or whatever we want to call the area under the front bumper. Otherwise, it's clean as a whistle. Also, bought VW red touchup paint and it matches perfectly. $3.00
