Ithink it was cause of the ball gas and an extra hotel night. OH yeah thats it I added my tux the full packages extra night and gas..I think that was it.

 

Heh.. It's like "I need some gas money to make it there" suddenly transforming into "what I meant was I need money to buy a car to make it there, and make sure it has a tank of gas"

The whole thing strikes me as very strange. Call me old fashioned, and I'm all for helping someone out who is in need, but if this kid had spent the time he spends here washing cars or raking yards or whatever, he could have *earned* the $300 by now. And now he needs how many thousands?

 

We need to get speedy here .

 

I'm not sure about his math either.....I know he was not originally calculating TWO admissions to all events...

But Dave has found him great prices on the rooms..



SHHHH but his mom and I are talking on the other line....I also will speak with Mr. Houghtaling before finalizing arrangements....you'll recall last year a full E Ticket appeared mysteriously for our boy Carby..

My motto when travelling is "just worry where you sleep" cuz' you eat and burn gas even living at home...you can't count that as an expense...besides reading the itinerary we'll eat like kings down there...

The travel logistics of sending the kart home with him have also become confusing....as I thought if they rented a Pickup and drove both ways that would be cost effective....I may ship it both legs for him now...


Let's just say for now I've got my arm around him, kinda like Houghtaling did for Carby..

All zupra sponsors will be recognized at the event and put on the kart for recognition....

I'm trying to convince mom just to stuff him in the car and hit the road, but some folks like to plan a little more detail than that to be comfortable...my first wife was like that.........

I'm just cruising over and showing up and I've got everything covered with
$795 X 2 plus $250/night X 3 (plus hotel tax and gratuities) = $2,340.00

plus the bourbon and sundries....maybe a snowball paperweight souvenier or something.........

gonna get Valeria some new clothes and diamonds...that's a coincidental....

 

I don't need 2000 I have to get to that ammount... and anyways im trying too.and like I said before i frogot to add the extra night gas and tux rental..

 

If you read all the posts that as already been suggested, and Zupras answer was understandable, i suggested to Zupra asking members to sponsor him for this trip, $1.00 a member, it is not strange at all so pay.

 

Speedy im not staying the the big hotel im staying at la quinta its like this 795x 2 and then 150 for gas 150 for food 150 for tux and then the hotel for like 4 nights is like 411 and i think thats it is this all cleared up now?

 

Zupra mate, when i suggested asking members for a dollar you only needed $300, how come it is now nearly $3000, you buying Speedys kart or his Ferrari?

Look be fore I didnt add the gas now with the gas extra night food and stuff its 2000 and then speedy is giving me the kart and when i get money i pay later. Is that right speedy?

 

Use LaQuinta as Dave328 said...4 X $ 65.50, and that's if you rest Sunday night before hitting the road back home, probably a good idea but not required....

Nobody is FORCING anyone to support zupra..

We are having a campaign here to SPONSOR his car (he'll drive one of my racing karts to as many events as they let him) and I tried set that out in the first post. Where it is stated all SPONSORS get a picture of a happy guy at The Ball with his Mom, in return. Don't send your laundry change if it means dirty socks for you next week......

It seems this whole thing may be causing negative stress...that's not my intent at all...
