    Lance Armstrong - they always have a parade/party for him a few weeks after the Tour de France down here in Austin.

    As for political rants - if you didn't notice, Pearl Jam and company are staying far away from Texas as they can on their current tour. Quite funny. A friend of mine is a big fan and is heading to Florida to check them out later this year. Apparently, they get into political rants as well.
