The Nova Scotia Thread!!!

I already saw some Ferrari's in the garage for repairs with a Nova Scotia license plate.

But your looking for a good place in Halifax...I don't really know but I could check on that.

 

The Ferrari dealer is more north of Montreal. (btw I don't work there if you thought I was, but I would LIKE to work there in the future as a salesman.)

 

I am in Halifax. I haven't used him yet but Carlo Auto on Agricola street is apparently the guy to use. I think he is primarily experienced with the carbureted cars though. If you are talking about a modern car, you are probably best to send it to Mtl (to the dealer or an independent)

 

There are a couple of F car owners in the area there (sneeky little....) one is Harry Steele (Newfoundland Capital Corp former owner of Eastern Provincial Airways) , His son owns a bunch of car dealers around town. One of them is the Chrysler dealer on Robie (steele chrysler i think) and Wood Motors Ford, If there was someone around who could point you in the right direction it would be them. Knowing the Steeles they will have someone they go to for service either on their own staff at one of their MANY dealers or someone they can reccomend

 

Just thinking Rob Steele has a masters in economics and is a damn nice guy if you get the chance to talk with him.

 

How many Ferrari's are in Nova Scotia? My Grandpa saw a 77 308GTB & a 412 in the classifieds this past weekend, and I know of a silver CS, the owner had a silver 355B before. Does anyone know of anymore F-cars in NS?

 

I saw this Mondial Cab at the airport in Halifax last monday. It drove past as I was loading our bags into the car.

That was The Ferrari of Eastern Canada: nicknamed "Mondie" by the locals, it's a mythical beast reported by vacationers for more than 16 years...

 

That would be rare then... I was under the impression that the only McLaren was in Quebec, owned by guess who...

 

Yeah indeed the only McLaren F1 is in Quebec and its own by you know who...

Wow, you made me famous. That car at the airport is my car. My friend has the exact same car, but a tan interior. He helped me to find this. It is an '87 Mondial. I just bought it from a broker in Quebec who brought it over form Italy. Car has only 40,000 kms. It is in great shape. Never thought I would get so much attention. Now I am frantically trying to get prices on doubling the size of my garage before the snow flies. Are you an F owner?
