Here is a shot of the upcoming am v8. The whole am family definately have the same genes but that's not bad when they look like this.

I've been on the list for the AMV8 for about a yr. now. Should be released fall of '05 as an '06 model.

I couldn't agree more, the AM's look wickedly beautiful. They have the Ex Head Engineer of Porsche running the place, Dr. Ulrich Bez. I think Aston is doing a marvelous job.

    I like that shot!
I think the AMV8 is so much better looking than the DB9. I dont know why anyone would choose the latter, other than the V12.

That is the perfect car (looks wise) its very agressive and looks like a true sportscar, curvy and beautiful, but its also extremely sophisticated.

Very sexy. I just hope the AMV8 won't have the "fall of a cliff"-type depreciation that has plagued historical Aston Martins, especially the DB7.

Does anyone know how long the waiting lists is? My dad is going to get one and was wondering how long he would have to wait and how much they are going to be after their markup. Thanks for any further help and information!

DB7 looks too much like the cheaper Jag Xk8, which itself suffers from horrible depreciation.

I guess everybody is entitled to their own opinion. Many would contend that the DB7 was, until the introduction of the DB9 and the AMV8, the best looking car to come out of AM in a long while. The sales figures would certainly indicate so.

I personally believe the heavy depreciation had more to do with poor marketing, poor warranty terms, and general lack of attention to quality -- as opposed to aesthetics.
