recently my 328's battery wouldn't function well as it wasn't giving enough power for the car to start. So concluded that i should give it to my car garge and they came to my house with a tow, but the car was to far in so they pushed it out the driveway and parked quite a distance as they pushed my car up the hill (yes hill). Now read this part extremly carefully as this is the main part when the three guy's came towards me to talk about the buisness the one inside didn't put on the handbrake so the car went back first (thank God) into the tow so now they have to fix the battery and the back of the car. when this happened the guy's from the company started crying in way and one said arter they strapped the car that maby i should come there as well. when i got there you should of seen some of the cars they had f50, f40, 360 and the 456 and im not talking about 1 or 2 of each (alright maby for the f50 and f40), but laods of the rest so the manager came up to me and asked which car i would use as coutersy. First i said the enzo anyone would and then he pointed to the line of cars i mentioned above and i chose the f50 and i got this piece of heaven for over six weeks.

Sounds too good to be true, youre saying that the garage just had these cars lying around and people could bring in their cars, and rent out these super ferraris for free? Something doesnt sound right...

OK, I love 328's just as much as the next guy... but come on....This dude lives in London, Rome, and Monoco, but can't afford something newer than a 328? I've sat on a toilet in Monoco that's worth more than a 328.

(BTW, I dropped my 348 for service at the local dealership and when they accidentally scuffed a tire, I demanded compensation. They had F2004 in for service, and kindly offered it to me. It runs great, but I'm having trouble with the fuel filler door. Any ideas?)

(In my best Monty Python voice....)

"BAN HIM! He's a witch! He's made of wood and wood floats and a duck floats so if he weighs the same as a duck, he's made of wood because he's a witch!"

Or something like that. But Ban him anyway.

Oh man...you have warped your kids. They are in great peril.

I loooove this guy's posts. Good catch Jim.

PS: My 308 still won't start. The first mechanic took pity on me and is letting me drive his 360 that has been jacked up with 44 inch off road tires. It has 3 gun racks, a keg and the playboy channel is hard wired into the heads up display. Did I mention the condom dispenser?

Is my math wrong, because this is not adding up...... I can only imagine the implied costs of lending someone an F50 for 6 weeks. How many miles are you allowed to drive this car? If the awnser is unlimited, then a service might be required when you return it to them. I am sure someone on this forum knows the cost of servicing an F50. Now add the depreciation after all of those miles are accumulated, and the cost of insuring it as a loaner for 6 weeks. What happens if you have an accident and wreck their car? Are you going to loan them your house for 6 weeks? All this because the driver caused some damage to a 328? I am sure they have insurance to cover that. So why absorb the absurd costs of lending someone a car that cost 15 times more than the one that has been damaged? If it doesnt make dollars it doesnt make sense.

Now guys this just MIGHT be true. I took my wifes Hyundai Sonata in for service the other day and they gave me a Challenge Stradale as a loaner. After all, they had about six in a row just waiting to be loaned out.....wait the crack pipe is starting to wear off........

Thanks Ferrari Fernatic(sic) I needed that laugh after a long day. @$$.
