what dose any one think of the Fiorano? what do you think the market diff is between a 99 355f1 / 99 Fiorano F1? 10k - 15k - 20k?
I'm just hoping to stay out of jail in this car-hostile state with an arcane legal process... I'll know more in a couple weeks. Looks like minimum of 60 day license suspension. But I have an attorney who is supposedly pretty good.
Mike - I want a ride!!! Can you chirp the tires on the upshifts like you could in your dearly departed 6 speed??? Congratulations - keep us posted on the delivery. Cheers Kevin
Hey Mike... I did not have an opportunity to say sorry about the fire on the 355. But you appear to have landed on your feet on this one. Nice! Have you posted details on how you found it, etc?
F355 + Red + Spider + Shields + CF + F1 + Rear CG = WOWWW... You don't see that everyday. Nice car and welcome to S. Cal.
Looks pretty clean. That was quick. Nice step up. Not to rub it in but you getting a Halon for this one? If you don't we'll tie you up and blast you with one
So this is the replacement you have been talking about. Very nice! Sorry you had to go through it all, but I hope it all worked out fine.
Nice, Scott - I wasn't gonna go there as I haven't bought my you-know-what yet. But I did get floor mats.... Cheers Kevin
Congrats on your purchase!! Did you buy it from Ferrari of Dallas or did you do a PPI there?? I can tell from the background its from FoD.
SrfCity, Scott Thanks for all the great pic's, It's nice to finley put your name and face togather. I won't forget next time...
Mike, assuming the 360 was an F1 transmission, please be sure to comment on your opinion about the differences/similarities. Be sure to address the "clunkiness" often claimed by some.
The red spyder I was driving was a 6sp but a week ago, I drove carclubla's 360 F1 for a day, the 360 F1 is clunky, it has it's own way of shifting, a bit slow, a programed blub of the throttle, and a pause. the 355 F1 is faster and no programed blub, in sport mode it is very fast like a CS.. with launch control @7000rpm feels more solid. just my observation...
