As some of you might know, I have been debating with myself for a while whether I should swap my CS for a F40. I am still going through the process but I recently came across a EURO 1992 F40 with 10,000km on the clock. The car comes with all book and records and seems to be a clean car (I have not seen the car myself but just photos). How much do you think I should offer? I am very tempted. Please advise.

Without seeing the car it is very difficult to say but between HKD$2,140,000 and HKD$2,710,000.

(Hope I worked the currency conversion right) ;)

The price for a 1989 thru 1992 F40 seems to start at about 212,000 Euros and goes up to about 309,000 Euros. Mileage ranges from 1200KM to over 41,000KM !! A 1990 with 3,500km at 259,000 Euro seemed about average though a lot of cars are in the 12,000-28,000KM range. Lots of 1990 and 1992 F40 models but 1991 Euro versions are less common for some reason. It is important to check the condition of the gas tank. Also any performance modifications, so you know what you have to deal with for service.
    Regards, ch
