The Borgata: Who's in? :)

Sounds like bad business to me. Right now Borgata is new hot spot of AC till something new comes along and than they will regret the times they miss-treated good customers like us. I know a little bit of the hospitality industry and one thing you never want to do is give your customers a feeling that you did not go out of your way to help them, because unlike other industries, in the hospitality industry there is no loyalty to a property just to the customer service one receives at the property.

 

I don't much about the whole "P.R." "hospitatlity" Business. What I do think though, is a guys contacts me at my business, tells me not that were coming down not in a bunch of Camry's, but a bunch of Ferraris. Now I think well, if nothing else these guys will probably dump a pretty good amount on the tables, and they just want some things that I give away to any decent players anyway, it's in our budget to do this because it's considered an operating expense anyway....they might have a great time and come again on thier own after that, local people might come just to see the cars as a bonus, hmm, nah we have enough geretric bus loads with people with buckets of nickels who come already???

 

let me call my casino host at the Borgata to see what she can do for us boyzzz.

wait...before i call her....is the plan arriving sept 10th friday and staying overnite? .... or arriving sep 11th saturday and staying overnite?

i prefer leaving friday if noone has a preference...

 

I don't think everyone was going to stay overnight. I would just drive down Saturday morning and drive back at night. From what i gather originally they had promised us parking up front with security and discount tickets to the shows.

 

just called my casino host.

she wont do anything for other people unless they give me their borgata card label numbers.

i didnt know what the plan was, but i got comped Friday and Saturday night stays at the Borgata (sep 10th & 11th).

Unfortunately for our country. There is not a strong correlation between what you are worth and what you drop at a casino. The only indicator of future spending at a casino is your historical spending.

How many times do you see a guy drop five large at a blackjack who looks almost homeless. The answer is often.

Sad but true.

 

I thought the same thing. I am probably not going to stay either.

 

I am willing to let anyone who is interseted play golf at my club during your trip to A.C. . It is about 15 minutes away from the Borgata and very private. No one will mess with any cars.

It might also work as a good place to drive to for lunch if you guys are looking for a drive and a place to bull**** around the cars.
