It's good to hear everyones stories. If you don't mind me asking, I was wondering what everyone's industry they work in is? Along with more advice. Thanks again!

As a fellow dentist (endo vs ortho), after schooling, working SMART and hard, the cute kids grew up, the hot wife is now a luke-warm ex but my garage is my castle where my true love (355F1 spider) awaits me. Life is so short and potentially fragile. Get thee a F-car and enjoy.

Doc, screw the car. Sell me your wife! You can keep the kids, though. ;-)

Back to the thread: Bottom line, it only takes money or the ability to borrow it to drive one of these cars. Depending on your taste and pocketbook, getting into an F-car can be affordable. That's assuming you're willing to drive a 20 year old car. If you want one of the nice, shiney new ones, you better either win the lottery, be born to the right set of parents, or figure out a way to make a LOT of money. See, simple really.

    Regards,
    Steve W.

I had a different road, but still similar to some of you guys. Enjoy the Music, I wish I knew you BEFORE I had the marriage and three kids! You could have given me some great advice (and saved me a LOT of money!).

I got divorced, gave up the house (and the spending machine I lived with....also unsexed....), found myself a really cool lady (20 years younger and a dead ringer for Meg Ryan) and THEN got a Ferrari with the money I had saved from not being married to the spending machine. The QV is expensive to maintain, but WAY cheaper and WAY LOWER maintenance than the B**CH I was chained to all those years. It also turns over very morning, which she didn't!!!

What's better than coming home from work into a great relationship and driving the F-car out to dinner??? I'm relatively new to this site, but I'm begnning to "get it".

    Thanks.

    Frank
