Two different cars... One has yellow stitching and no radio, the other photo shows a CS with red stitching and a radio fitted. Don´t know what the purpose is of this post, but the interiors of these 2 CS is nothing different from others.
What is the big draw for the Alcantara ? interior on the CS over leather? I have seen a couple with leather and to me it looks much better. Does one wear much better or is it just a (theme of the car) reason?
ahhhh, the famous yellow stitiching would indicate it's jack's first car at autogallery which he ordered yellow w/ black interiour and yellow horsie and stitch, and by F error, delivered a red & black int. with yellow horsie...in a yellow car.... jack no happy, refuse car, matt at meridian buy car and put yellow "rap master" suede in!!!!! jack get F expedite new yellow/BLACK car finish october!!!!
Leather may look good but will never hold you in place like Alacantra will. As for wear, I would think that the Leather would be a bit better based on friction and such, but I don't have the experience to provide a valid answer that question .
watt - i believe meridian bought jack's car and attempted to fix it. FSpA only screwed up his seats - i'm fairly certain the rest of the car was to-spec. doody.
F really did expedite this one -- production completed July 28th -- on boat early August and should be docking at NJ any time now. Hope to take delivery in about two weeks.
hi JC, go to www.alcantara.it and you can get a lot of info (as long as you can read italian...i know you can). i spoke to some folks from australia the other day. they use alcantara a lot and even have furniture for their home upholstered in alcantara. they loved it and told me it wore very well and was easy to clean and maintain. so far the alcantara in my stradales is holding up very well. i managed to get a little grease stain on the seats one da, but i was able to easily clean it off with soap and water so far i'm really happy with the alcantara.
Udalmia - its possible I was at my local dealer and he had a car they converted. He had to remove most of the interior to weld the mounting brackets, then instal the belts. Cost was ~$3,500, will try to take pics and post when I pick up my car.
