There are a few on here for just over £100k - surely they have got to be the bargin of the year - they're 30-40% cheaper than the UK albeit LHD (better made !!). I assume there's no VAT to pay on these cars.

    Rick,

They are superb value at that money, same for 2 yr old Murcis at 110k ish in LHD. I would not deny the Strad is a far better track day car though.

At £100k must be a good buy. How about 4 people each put £25k each and figure out how to share general usage and all 4 can use it at trackdays ?

There was a 2 yr (might have been 1 can't remember) old RHD Murci in the Sunday Times at the weekend for £152k !! Not much of a discount from a new one.

There are around 8 RHDs for sale in total around UK at moment. Cheapest is asking for 145... most expensive 165.

Cheapest one is Black on Black. Seems to be the colour that dictates the price more than anything!!!

Mind you Joe Macari sold a RHD one 2 months ago for 140 (Yellow - most popular colour). He sold it within 1 hour!!!!!!

    Pearl Orange for me please.

Am flexible on the interior as long as it's not green. Or yellow. Or red or orange.

I was speaking to a girl at the factory about this 2 weeks ago (the UK PR girl)-very nice she is too but thats another story(!)
Lamborghini are very aware of the resale values on used in the UK and it was'nt actually said but they obviously don't want the Murcis to go the same way depreciation wise as the 575.This would no doubt mean that it would eventually affect new Murci sales. (Not knocking the 575 a great car). The new Murci allocations for the UK next year I believe are not much different to this year (17 to 20 units), so its obviously keeping used prices very high. (If the 575 was mid engined and more TR looking I think it might be different.)The Gallardo is where the money is profit wise for Lamborghini, the Murci not expected to show a profit for another 2 years due to the high development costs.
One thing I found interesting at the factory was that in 2003 a 'significant' number of Gallardos were built and assembled at Audis factory in Neckersaum Germany and never saw Italy! I have to say i'd have a Strad over a Gallardo any day but it was a tough one over the Murci.
Ade- The Viola (purple) Murci at Lambo Manchester is a very nice bit of kit, lovely colour, the black one with red leather is nice too, interesting the Viola one has been for sale for 2/3 months now.Bet theyd come down. Think its £144K

with standard exhaust yes... with a muffler... fine.

Oh, and i heard a rumour that a RHD Stradale was bought privately for £105k... can't confirm though.

LHD Stradales for just over £100k (confirmed price) make so much sense. It doesn't matter which side you drive with on track, even less relevant with F1 gearing.

RHD Modena or LHD Stradale.... no brainer, the striped one every time! :D

I agree. Once I saw a Stradale in the flesh, I was soooo much more impressed than from pictures. It has such an agressive stance (Is it lower than a standard 360?), but the wheels, stripe and exhaust all add so much to the car.

Does anyone know how much a new CS was in Europe ?

There must be more depreciation over there than the current UK 0%.
