im curious just for my knowledge, i called gus today and he says the vinyl would have to be put ON the 3m stoneguard tape, i thought that the tape would go on top of the vinyl.. he said that putting the tape on top fo the vinyl would cause air bubbles etc.. said it shouldnt matter much since the tape is 8mm thick anyway

Utkarsh, Maybe you should go to a vinyl shop that does only cars and see how it all works. Just a suggestion. Gus is a HELLA SMART guy, (and he's right about this, by the way) but I bet you;d feel better going to a vinyl shop and checking out your options... Emil
