    could anyone point me to the right direction of removing all the panels around the A/C control panel. Thanks

    Open the ashtray door, remove the inside plastic ashtray, remove the philips screw at the bottom. The ashtray/mirror switch can now be removed after disconnecting the wires. The A/C control simply lifts out of place after the ashtray assembly is removed.

    There are numerous posts on this subject and a search may reveal a step-by-step with pictures as well.
