Im sorry because the owners manual probably has this answer, but I dont have one. What kind of battery does my 95 355 take? Can I just get one at any auto parts store?
Im pretty sure I need one, my car wont hold a charge for over a week. The last time I jump started it, I got about 15 miles and just as I pulled into the driveway the battery light and some other lights came on and when I tried to restart the car it was dead. Hopefully the alternator is not bad. Im sure its dead if it wont hold a charge for more than a week.

You should be able to find out the size designation from your local Ferrari dealer. Try giving them a call. Then go to Costco or Sears... ;)

Two things you should consider also:
    1) There is an extra ground strap from the alternator to chassis for the 95 355, make sure you get one of those from your dealer (unless your car has already been updated. They started making this standard sometime during the 96 model year. This could be contributing to your charging issues.

    2) Get a battery tender, to keep your battery topped up with a full charge. Your battery will last much longer. This is the cheapest on-line source I have found: http://snipurl.com/7cod Then get a cigarette adapter plug from Radio Shack, and splice it onto one of the adapters and it will be very easy to connect/disconnect when you park in your garage (and you'll never forget to disconnect before driving off). http://snipurl.com/5rl7

No manual? You absolutely should get one. You can download one for free if you register here: http://www.owners.ferrari.com/ But having the original one handy in the car is best. Your dealer can order you one.

p.s.- another idea that we do for the battery charger, we hard wire the charger lead onto the battery iteslf. Then we run the wiring up to the front compartment. Then you can keep your charger in the front and just pop the bonnet, connect the leads and plug into the wall.

I got a replacement battery for my 355 from Costco here in the UK. The 355 was listed in the application guide in the store. I got a Bosch Silver Battery cheaper than anywhere else I could find.
