360 oil change

For those of you who have done this yourself...if you drain from the two plugs and change the filter, how much oil should I pour in before starting and checking the level? I don't want to overfill and there must be some trapped in the lines and coolers, but I don't want to put in too little either. Capacity is 10 liters, so I was thinking start with 8, run the motor and check the level. Sound o.k.?

I'll answer my own question, if anyone cares

I drained and refilled with 8 liters, checked level, added another liter, checked again, added half a liter, drove for 1/2 hr, checked again, added another 1/2 liter, so it took the full 10 and is still about 2/3 way from bottom to top mark.
