We topped 250kph which the GPS confirmed, with the roof down, fully loaded with a full tank of petrol. Engine screaming, wind howling, John SNORING!!! The man can sleep anywhere!
Great pictures of a great event boys! Thanks for sharing. Yet another example of how Europeans life their life doing great things such as that. And the view? Wow. I am off to my home in Portugal to receive my annual dosage of Europe! This Canadian weather kills me!!!!!!! Cheers, Vasco.R
What a great run! I drove Gotthard pass last summer and had a ton of fun; in June there was still plenty of snow. Note to self: get a place in Switzerland!
Hope you got our phone message Trevi. Sorry we didn't catch you later in the Gotthard, but we stayed until the jagermeister ran out! Great weekend, thanks.
Nice pictures from a seemingly wonderful event, glad to see that you all had a great time, and all arrived back home well and safe!!! Thanks for sharing your pics with us. Best Carsten
Hi guys - it's good to hear that everyone made it home safely - especially our friends from England and Germany as they had to drive such a long distance after saturday's party... Rachel and I really enjoyed the whole weekend, and we'll never thank Trevi & Manuela enough for the organization of such a great event. It was great to make so many new friends, we hope to hear from all of you often on Ferrarichat, and to see you soon for another Ferrari day! Wolgang I envy your Autobahns - we tried to avoid them in Switzerland, the limits are SOOO boring here. But I loved the Clausenpass - that was one of our best drives ever. Man, our F355's are fast (especially that beautiful blue one from Munich...! ;-) Didier tried very hard but he failed to lose us, and he was driving the mighty Modena! ;-) We must do this again.
Looks like you had a great time! Great pictures! Looking at these pictures made me wish I had my 360 with me on my vacation to Switzerland/Austria a couple of months ago. I really need to look into one of those "rent an f-car for a week" trips over in your neck of the woods sometime. Your roads and scenery look simply amazing! - Tim
Dear Andrea, totaly agree with you, the Sunday Clausen-pass drive was amazing!!!!!! Just a smal group of 5 Ferraris, drivng damn fast up the hill. Wooooow, same feeling like our Italy trip in May. Patrick from Munich realy knows how to track his 355! I was fighting very hard to get my faaaaa-ass-beast around all those very narrow roades & curves. No way to catch you guys but always much fun trieng to follow you. Way back home over the German-Autobahn was a bit more testa related - always between 260-310km/h. Hope to CU soon again for another drive out. Wolfgang
