Here is mine, the "natural look" by Pugliese. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26363&page=4&pp=20 (oops-scroll down about five posts to see it.)
After Monterey, we zipped down to Hearst Castle. Indoor and outdoor pools. Note the diving platform on the indoor pool. Real gold in the tiles.
William Randolph Hearst (of Hearst Publishing) built it as a small bungalow on his parents land, but got carried away. When he died, he said it was "half-finished". http://www.hearstcastle.org/welcome.asp
Does my "pool" count?? LOL I havent put up the sign yet - "Please do NOT dive" After all, its NOT the smallest pool in this thread though
Very cool. Im heading up in September to my condo there. It is gorgeous and growing so fast. There are now more places to eat than just the Hardees!
*getting out Valeria's roll up kiddie pool and garden hose* Just a minute guys, for this to fill up. It'll look better with a topless girl floating around in it.......... *disappearing back into garage*
Ok we got water!!! The pool has water in it. First filling was last Friday and it took about six hours at about 300 gal a minuet!!! Lots of leaves too but you are correct, when on they go off the edge nicely!! The spa is not done yet but I expect it to open before thanksgiving. BTW, does anyone know anyone that makes custom spa covers? Here are some cool pics!!! My room is the one with the three long windows on the left. I gave myself near 900 ft sq. But I have not moved into it yet... The near done spa at the base of the 16 ft negitive edge. Spa is 14 by 9 on the inside. There is a pump and a 5000 gal holding tank that will raise the level of the pool to up to two inches over the vanishing edge. So when on there will be a water fall behind the spa from the water over the edge of the pool. The water will form a moat around the spa and then go back to the tank, or the pool depending on what setting it is on. Of course, the whole thing is heated!
Might want to add a zero (or two!) to that one, then you will be getting close. Marble from the Armani Mine in Italy is/was not cheap.
Love pool! Dr. Stanglove ... Now in Peter Sellers tradition you need to fill it up with many Britt Ekland lookalikes ...
So you're saying that is an $800,000 pool? Or even a $8,000,000 pool? Its very nice - beautiful - but no way that could have cost that much.
No way 8 million. But currently we are well over $800,000. Hell, it took 10,000 Ft Sq of marble. It is 82 x 27 in the lanes, 82 x 47 at the shallow.
OMG! Are you seriouse? Why not add another Fcar to the garage for that price... for a "bit" more you could have bought yourself an ENZO!!!!
