    Last night while at the Village Tavern on Reynolda Rd. in Winston-Salem some spineless person took my NSX. My heart dropped when my and my fiance' came out and another car was parked where mine was. It would be greatly appreciated if you NC guys could keep an eye out for it. It is a 1999 red targa and has the Comptech package. The tag reads RZW-6859. I know that there is another red NSX in the area, but that was my old one and looks different.

    I know there is nothing I can say to make you feel better so I will concentrate my efforts on helping you look for the car. I will pass the word on to friends and hope for the best.

    Find some comfort in the fact it was not a car jacking. Obviously they wanted the car and they knew what to do.

    I am glad no one was hurt.

    G/D ! This was actually in Reynolda Village? I've left the 348 with the targa off there many times. What time of day? Was the roof on or off? Which lot was it parked in?

    I'll keep an eye out. WSPD give you any ideas?

    Are there any obvious markings that would seperate yours from other red NSXs? (bumper scrape, etc)
    I keep an eye out here in Charlotte

    Sorry to hear it man........I'm sure it gave you a gut wrenching feeling to see your car gone. I'm like Daniel though was the top on or off?

    I'll keep my eyes out in Asheville and let all my buddies know as well. Hopefully you can get your baby back quickly!

    Jack Russell- It was around 8pm and the top was on it. There was no broken glass on the pavement or anything either. UGHHHH. I was parked in the lot adjacent to the one for Village Tavern. I think there is some sort of weird pet toy store or something in front of it. Winston Police said that there have been alot of higher line cars stolen in the area recently, but most of them get caught fairly quick due to the cars sticking out. I have my fingers crossed.

    Cheetah-The Comptech package is not common on these, but also I have the big Alpine navigation pod/ LCD screen which I have never seen on one around here before. One other thing. The wheels on the car are not the same as in the picture, as it has the Comptech wheels back on it now.

    Let's use my car as bait this weekend, and park it in the same place. I bet we catch two little punks who belong on the other side of US-52.

    You feel so violated when that happens, had a top cut on a conv. and a Bertone Volvo stolen once. It really sucks. The Volvo smelled like it had been pissed in, and the new conv. top never fit right.

    My Challenge has a red cut off switch, I'm going to start taking that with me so there will be no power.

    Good luck, may the thief burn in hell forevermore! May his offspring be damned, his crops dry up and livestock be slaughtered. May he forever be slamming his fingers in between the car doors..you get the picture.

    I'll keep an eye out in the Summerfield area. I'm only a few miles from Sport Auto and I go past it almost every day. There are always people stopping by to visit the showroom. Will look for a red NSX lurking around, but if I were them, I would think twice before showing my face there.

    Just got a call from Cumberland Co. sherrif's office. It looks as though I will be getting my car back! Thanks guys for keeping an eye out for me. They better have not hurt my baby.

    MAN AWESOME!!!!!!! That was really fast........but bright red sportscars are kinda hard to hide hahaha!! Glad to hear it! Hopefully it will be in tip top shape.

    That's great news, a car that that is hard to hide. Sorry to hear that happen to you as well. I had my Acura stolen early last year. It was found 2 days later but stripped of some of my bolt-on performance parts. It was most likely kids anyway that have could have gotten allot more but didn't. Make sure that the police perform a full crime scene on the car & get finger prints.

    Well...........I just returned from Dunn, NC with no car. They found my car this morning (or whats left of it) on fire off 95 south between Dunn and Fayetteville. The morons who stole it apparently crashed it into a retaining wall, left it running, and fled. The strut brace that criss-crosses over the engine punctured the front valve cover causing an oilfire when it hit the exhaust manifolds. It looks like a charred marshmellow. Needless to say, I think the insurance company will total it.
