What do you guys think of the new F430? Nice from the back...but too much like the 360 from the front for my taste. Cheers Simon Pictures from the Ferrari Owners Site

Nice car, but I do not know what to think about the front-lip (can I also use this word in english???). But we have to see it in reality to judge it´s design, I think.
Hi Simon, Thanks for the post! Finally we get rid of these half covered spy pics. This is the one! I like it! The rear is a bit Lambo and the front is not really new, but my overall first impression is good. I would like to see it for real. When will it be available? What will the price be? Ton
I think it looks great! IMO much better looking than in the first "photoshop"/spyphotos shown. Definitly on top of my wishlist (together with a nice 512TR...)! /Peter
Hi Ton...it will be officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in September and will be available from the beginning of 2005. Don't know the price....more than I can afford. More than a 250PF coupe....
Expectations are undoubtedly high for the new berlinetta. After all, the 360 Modena has proved to be Ferrari’s most successful mid-engined car ever, with 9,933 coupés built since the model’s launch in 1999. The F430 promises to be an exciting revelation. Much more than a simple face-lift, no less than 60% of the car is new and the F430 incorporates all the latest advances in chassis and engine design, aerodynamics and electronics engineering.
I love the sharknose and the sharper headlight units. The mirrors and steering wheel are cool as well IMHO. The rear isn't as aggressive as I would have liked it to be. I think a 360 with black grille looks far more brutal. Ideally I would like a 430 with a 360CS rearend.... Too bad there's no such thing. Overall, I like it very much!
They already added the CS marker on the top of the steering wheel. It just needs to be painted red. And what about the location of the horn: thumbs up! Bob
Is it me, or do the wheels on the silver car look like that from the current 360CS? Also, its being revealed at the Paris motorshow?? Cool I can go see it
