Are the 93-95 348s wider than the 89-92 348s?

    I am not sure if it's perception, but it seems to me that the 93-95 348s are wider than the 89-92 348s..

    Can anyone confirm?

    i think they are too.... I know the spiders and the 348 Specials are "wider" due to a 25mm rear wheel offset that isn;t there on the other 348s

    No, they are the same width, but they may appear wider due to the increased track width in the back.

    Interestingly, the '94 Factory Challenge cars did not get this upgrade, just the Specials and the spiders. I can't figure out why this is, but they must have had a reason.

    Yes, they increased the rear track width to increase roadholding.
    I added spacers at the rear to achieve the same result.

    If it was just rear then they didnt on the 348CH to reduce understeer which widening the rears promotes.
