It was a great event. Thanks again Roland for letting me sit in your car. The 360cs was cool and I also liked the white murcielago. I also thought that the fly by was pretty cool too. I think that it was probably one of the nicest car shows that I have ever been to do in Colorado.

I am going on vacation to get some rest! Thanks to all the Ferrari guys. The Mercedes Benz "Alloy" Gullwing was nice, but to me nothing beats the 3,000 hp British Fairey Firefly. We actually had a camera man in the yellow T-6 above the P-51 Mustang and the British Firefly during the flyover so I'll post the pics as I get them.

I'm headed back to the hangar right now to get the Firefly out so he can take off to California.

Thanks again to all that helped us make the Morgan Adams Concours d'Elegance a huge success!

I will post pictures later in the week (have about 1,000 pics and 6 different videos to go through).

Actually, I'll head to the hangar now and get shots of the Firefly taking off and post in a few hours!

    See you soon.

You did an awesome job in only your second year. Roland and I had a great time and I was glad that I was invited to be a part of it. I will be sure to give Lissa a "stimulating" ride on October 3rd. I will also be giving a ride to Kevin Gould on his birthday this Sunday. I promised his wife that I wouldn't hit anything.

Keep in touch and let me know if you are going to make the October event.

    John.

Thanks for the great event Brett, Malu and I had a great time and met many wonderful people. We are looking forward to more Ferrari events with our new friends :)

Now, if we can only figure out how to get the 3 of us on the Fall Foliage Tour. Perhaps, we will convert the Honda Odyssey to a Hondarri for the event.

Unfortunately, we had to leave before the Best Of Show winners were announced, can you spill the beans? Which aircraft/car won?

    Thanks,

    Mark Lueker

Best in Show: P-51D Mustang, Joe Thibodeau

People's Choice for Best Aircraft: P-51D Mustang, Joe Thibodeau

People's Choice for Best Automobile: 1933 Auburn Boattail Speedster, Tim Gilmartin

Peer Vote for Best Aircraft: British Fairey Firefly, Captain Eddie

Peer Vote for Best Automobile: Bentley GT, Peter Taylor

I had the very first Mercedes 300SL "Alloy" Gullwing built and came directly from Pebble Beach this year, two extremely rare Dietrich Packards, a supercharged Auburn Boattail Speedster, many other Pebble Beach cars and Peter Taylor won the Peer Vote for Best Automobile with his GT. That's alright, because Peter and Jim are great and the car is absolutely beautiful! Thank you Peter and Jim.

I have over 1,000 pictures and just trying to catch up. I went up in the British Fairey Firefly to Ft. Collins on Sunday which is the reason I didn't get pictures up within a couple hours. I am a very lucky person (only a half dozen people have been up in this plane). It is now the only one in the world flying - Eddie said the other crashed. You can buy approximately eight (8) P-51D Mustangs for the price of the Firefly. Best part was the owner teaching me how to bailout of this plane with a parachute if we had to ditch in an emergency. You never know with these 50 year old planes.

I'm leaving to go fly fishing for awhile. When I return, I'll get all the pictures up. Also, have video of the fly over with the P-51, Firefly, Mig-17, deHavallin and the AT-6.
