Waiting with bated breath the imminent arrival of my first Fcar, next Wednesday I'll be collecting my 1990 3.4t Mondial Cabriolet (the 400 spyder didn't pan out) from Mike and Phil at QV, who have been giving her lots of TLC whilst I've been away on holiday.

So thought I would try and put a few faces to the many people I've chatted with over the last couple of months. I know you usually meet on the first Thursday - which will be the 2nd September. I think there was some talk of a change of venue, could someone confirm time and place.

As I live right over in E. Kent I'm not that familiar with W.Kent so directions would also be of help - mind you if the weathers as bad as it is now I'll probably bring the Merc, which has sat nav.

Look forward to hearing from Sletti and the boys - Cheers Kevan

PS Sorry about repost - didn't make it clear in first thread that it was a Kent meeting and I can't seem to change title!

    Kevan,

Yep, count me in. Thursday 2nd at the usual location.

I'll PM you location details; y'know, keep away the riffraff as much as poss. Mind you Graham will probably go, and you dont get more riffy or raffy than that!

Aubergine, wasabi and braised camel sandwich with slivers of lard and larks vomit, anyone.....

No I fixed that. Well kind of, I disconnected the wire.

Now it doesn't work when I open the doors. I freely admit it's not in the top ten of the best fixes of all time but it was cheap

A chav fix for a chav problem. Job done. What can I say?

Stig, photosynthesis is for leafy green plants, not chavy northerners. perhaps normal animal glycolysis would be a better evolutionary option at this stage? Not forgetting the several stages prior to the glycolytic cycle the enable the fatty acids (AKA Lard) to be broken down into a form suitable to be entered into the cycle...

I kneel before you mighty nerdiness! I award you medical spod award first class!

Perhaps It may be prudent to revise my description, so henceforth I shall refer to it as Sagarsynthesis. In this process the reaction of blue light with the sagarphyll causes the lard to covert to mint sauce and vinegar. I have the liposome pathways to justify this reaction, but they have lots of pictures of nudey ladies, and you are just way too young!

BTW, you coming down on the 2nd?

    Joe,

I've not heard about a change in Venue as yet, so as far as I know it's still as it was.

BTW, have you done all your miles yet?
