No matter what you say about Letterman, he has some nice Ferraris!

Leno may not be a Ferrari fan. But he is still a huge car enthusiast, and though he may not have Ferraris, he still has a Mclaren F1. I LOVE Ferraris, but if I had the choice of an Enzo and a Mclaren, I'd have to go w/ the Mclaren.

The beauty is that it's really not a choice for Leno - he can afford both many times over. ;)

This my friend, is true. I'll bet that most of you guys didn't know that he actually doesn't really use his money from the show. He saves most of it, but most of his money supposedly comes from his Stand up and other things he does.

You guys should stick Ferrarichat.com decals somewhere, so when you pass by celebrities they know where to go.

Maybe Dee Snyder from Twisted Sister is available. I saw him this past tuesday night at the Farmingville car show. He had (supposedly) a VH1 camera crew following him around interviewing people etc. What was up with that?

His annual salary, just from Late Night, is approximately $30mm from NBC. I think this is becaue he owns part of the rights, or something. Letterman, on the other hand, get's about a tenth of that.

(Emil, weigh in here to correct my gross misrepresentations).

That's actually incorrect. Letterman owns a piece of his show and his production company "Worldwide Pants" produces the Late Show, Ed and a number of other programs that have netted him tens of millions per year. Letterman makes in excess of $30M on his show alone not counting his other ventures. Leno was just resigned by NBC for $20M per year (maybe a bit more), but his other income comes from his constant stand up tour. He nets another $20M from that as well (he does corporate events, private events, etc.). In the article recently written about him he did say that he funds his passion for cars and other toys out of his earnings from touring, not the Tonight Show. He has a fear from his first days of the biz (most comics do I would imagine) about being unemployed so he saves all his earnings from the show. His Money Managers must love him! Letterman on the other hand make $60M+ last year according to Forbes...

Don't think we'll get to JD's until 9ish since we're meeting up with folks in Fort Lee and Vik wants to launder his ride. They don't open the doors over there until 9am anyway, so no need to be there before that. As for the destination afterwards, I'll leave that up to you guys. We can keep it NJ style or head over to CT. Whateva...
