FYI- I had been working with Jeff at Boardwalk Ferrari to resolve an issue with my car and was informed he is no longer the service mgr effective today. The new guy's name is Aaron. He was very nice and personable on the phone. I'll meet him in person when I drop the car off this weekend. Frances
Actually, that isn't entirely correct. I can't share the details right now, but the work getting done is on Ferrari's dime. I can say, however, a few phone calls, the assistance of a fellow f-chatter in Berlin and another in Florida combined with EXCELLENT customer service from FNA made it all happen.
Glad you worked out something so you don't have to cough up more money. BTW, are there any Ferraris in the showroom?
With the lack of profile details for the previous two postings I couldn't help but think- SAFE4NOW...is that you Aaron? TheGeorge...Tim?
<chuckle> TheGeorge is definitely NOT Tim... I know both... and there is essentially nothing in common between the two. And no, I don't plan to elaborate. I met Aaron today when I dropped off my Stradale for a whole bunch of stuff... seemed nice, treated me right, and didn't even balk at the 3" of bugs plastered to the poor car. Even better, when he called back about some issues I wanted them to check out: 1) he addressed my whole list 2) he found the problems (no, "sorry, couldn't reproduce that") 3) he had FNA's approval to fix an item under warranty 4) that item caused some excess brake wear, and he had the pads replaced under warranty as well And I didn't have to complain or whine or yell at all! So, I'm very pleased with Aaron so far.
Maybe the issue at the P car store was that one of the other service guys was so good. Probably the best I've dealt with. Tim
I serviced my car through Aaron over at The Porsche Store before I got banned and he alway's treated my really well and gave top notch service ... I would recommend him over any other ... I'm glad he's moved up and with Ferrari ... you guys are lucky!
Twin You can't just float that baby without explaining.... it is like saying yeah i was talking to Jim the other day just before he was hit by a meteor and jim was saying.....
Wow, you own a Pcar? Anyway, I'm talking about Hans. Ask any of Pcar TJ's and see what you get. He is really in a league of his own. I'm sure I'll hear about someone's bad experience with him, but I've been doing business with them since they opened the store and I've had my ups and downs, but overall, I couldn't ask for more. You know how demanding I am of things, anyone who can actually put up with me and deliver, gets my vote. Geeeee
Hans is a GREAT guy...and he is becoming a damned good driver on track, too! -Ghetto Fabulous Flava D
I was initially assigned to Aaron when I moved to the area. He was OK, no problems really. Hans is track guy however, so I prefer working with him and call him directly now. Besides, anyone who is able to put up with George's smack talk and still be gracious would be an absolute pleasure to work with for any normal human being.
Nope, Not Tim Or Aaron... Steve. I worked along side Aaron at the P store for awhile, good guy... seemed to handle his clients well and didn't try to BS anyone, even when things were heated. That is unusual in this business Steve
Nothing personal against Aaron, he is a good guy and I dont think he would try rip you off, but here is my analogy: Your are at the topless bar, there is the usual local talent on stage one and the main attraction porn star from LA on stage two, where is your money going? Thanks for the kind words Rob . George
