A quick look on ebay shows that there are 44 360's for sale. That is 5 more cars than the TOTAL number of 308, 328, 348, and 355 and Testarossas on ebay right now!

    That seems really surprising...

I said the same thing to the guy at FOA. He said they still have a list a mile long to buy a new 360. At the same time they have several in the showroom with less than 3k miles on them. All look brand spankin new.

I guess a lot of customers for 360's want the newest brand new Ferrari; whatever it is - a used one just won't do.

Well, lots of folks don't want to play "the game" dealers play with reselling "used" models with "delivery only miles" WELL OVER MSRP because Ferrari will not allow them to sell over MSRP to the first buyer. It is a game they all play. Good thing SMART people ARE NOT falling for it :)

Oh, how about dealers claiming how rare the 360 is (HA!). One could easily buy a low miles 360 every day of a full month on EBay and STILL there would be more on the market for sale.

I suggest waiting supply and demand will set price econ 101.

Considering there are probably over 5000 360s out there, 44 on ebay doesn't seem like a whole lot. The waiting lists will help prevent a sea of 360s from hitting the market all at once -- why sell your 360 now if your 430 is 2-3 years away...

That's a good point, but it assumes that the average Ferrari owner will only get rid of his Ferrari so that he/she can purchase a newer one. I think is probably true less often for the Ferrari owners-at large than it is on F-chat.

I believe many 360 owners see no distinction between Lambo and Ferrari (at least not the way f-chatters do)

you think Ebay's numbers are big ?! the dupont registry currently has 300 360's for sale. and that number is up from the 250 range over the past 60 days

Good point. FerrariBuy.com and other car sites are also bursting at the seams with 360's. Seems like a buyers market now - will be an unbelievable buyers market 3 - 6 months after the 430 comes out.

I would also think the higher productions numbers has something to do with this.
