    Hi,

    This is a 250 GTO '64 replica based on s/n 3103, originally a 250 GTE.

    Ciao, Peter

    Correct If I'm wrong:
only 3 of these cars were ever built (1964)
and one of those 3 is owned by mexican collector Carlos Hank Gonzalez .

Sacrelige ;) ... unless these rebodies were down back in the old days for performance reasons, that is just sad. The '62 looks miles better than the '64 IMO.

Yes, all by Scaglietti way back when before the '64 season

3413 GT was rebodied in 1963
4091 GT (peter Sachs) was rebodied in 1963
4399 GT (Bamford) was rebodied in 1963
4675 GT (Matusda) was rebodied in 1963 (after TDF accident)

    4713 GT had a 330 LM-style body from birth

I also prefer the '62 body. It's so beautiful.

To throw in some more info: Mr. Williams also owns or owned another GTO replica based on GTE s/n 4645 GT (which was registered on the same plates: 7 FYO). That one was bodied like the '62 version though.
