I couldn't believe it. Tiff said that Ferrari made 499 enzos. He's lost my respect.

Are you sure he said that? When I saw him reviewing the Enzo he was still quoting the 349 number.

Give Tiff a break....he's the best motor journalist around the world and he knows how to drive. What more could you want. he drove the **** out of the Enzo and his narative (while driving mind you) was great. I TIVO'd it and watch all the time.

"watch the chicane tiff .....it's not there...Oh!....it is there.

5th Gear is better than any other American Automotive based TV show hands down.

Tiff is a great driver, and a really good journalist, and I don't want to get into a Clarkson vs. Tiff debate, because they are *completely* different, but Tiff would get my vote every time

Clarkson is more amusing, and more entertaining, and I'd rather watch him if I want to be entertained. But I'd never not buy a car just on his say-so. Whether he likes a car or doesn't seems completely arbitrary.

I never buy cars on the basis of video reviews anyway

I do find Clarkson more entertaining, am convinced they are both just as full of crap (but much less than american mags). And I don't care how many Enzos were built. LOL :)

I don't see how anyone could claim that Clarkson is "less full of crap" than, say, an American automobile magazine. Clarkson and Objective are not to be uttered in the same sentence (whoops...).

There will be more than 399 Enzos. I don't think they've stopped making them yet, so no one really knows how many there will be.

There are more than 349 F50's too.

    :)

    Tiff is THE driver!
You can put him in *any* car and he will drive it as it intended and afterwards you will know any possible shortcomings of the car tested.
Btw. Tiff was the first journalist in the world to get to drive a Ferrari factory formula 1 car...

I agree, I think Clarkson is more of an entertainer than a driver.
Have you noticed that whenever he tries to show the abilities of a car he always spin and end up with the car pointing the wrong way in a cloud of smoke?
He's also a master of exaggeration, "the clutch is as heavy as my brother",
"the headrest (on a Mercedez SL 55 AMG) weights as much as a (Volkswagen) Golf...".

    Entertaining, Yes
    Serious, No

I miss the time when they were both in TopGear, I think they were a perfect complement to each other.

I think Paul Frere may disagree with that statement. ;)

So he said 4 instead of 3 big deal I don"t care how many he says as long as his narrative keeps up to his usual high standard
