The HSR at Carolina Mortorsports Park, a blue and yellow Camel and Beneton F1, with Schumacher's name and county flag on the side set the fastest recorded lap time ever at this track. It was an awsome display considering that this car should have immense collectability. Everything was low key, up close, and personal.

I was told this was the car he won his first championship in. Could this be true?

A small track in the Carolina's with no fan fare, a plan white trailer and dual wheel pickup? They all had the right accent and equipment...I was shocked. I don't think there were over 150 people there including participants.

Micheal Schumacher won is first GP in Spa - Belgium on a Benetton in 1992.

Could be not possible that the car you saw is that one, since you said 1991

Then he won his first championship in a 1994 with Benetton powered by Ford.

Perhaps it is his very first Benetton. Either way, a pretty cool car.

IGNORANCE IS BLISS or so they say. You are right... I could have sworn the english crew said it was his 1991 F1 car, but I must be mistaken. And I also thought someone said it was the car he won his first F1 title. In any regard, I should be banned for posting a most stupid statement! To see this car run was indeed a pleasure.
