Schumacher vs Jeff Gordon!

So they're basically going to switch into different cars throughout the race?

I hope they televise this.
Kudos to MS and JG for jumping in the fray like they did in the old days: Jim Clark drove everything - often in the same weekend.

 

It ought to be great, JG did real well last year. I am Schumi will adapt very well.

 

Speed had it about 3 years ago. The last time Jeff did it they didn't have it. All they had was some highlights for Speed News. I'm looking forward to seeing this for sure. I think the format is Formula Cars, Ferrari Cars and rally cars now.

 

Will this be televised?

 

Speed did run the '02 and '03 ROC, back during the winter doldrums, but you had to search the schedule for it. They'll probably run the '04 sometime early in '05. If you can't wait, you can google for "nation's cup" and/or "michelin race of champions" to find the press page for the event. Stills from past years were there, last time I looked.

LOL -- Isn't Michael younger than Jeff?

Pity they're moving it to Paris from the Canaries. Paris in Dec may have weather problems. (Especially for the pit babes' skimpy outfits. )

Also, it might get a smidge overshadowed by preparations for the Jan 1-18th Paris-Dakar.

 

Can hardly wait for this event!! I'll have to check the betting odds on this. My guess Michael would be a huge fav., but Jeff/Jimmie won it in 02. Very cool.
