Nice shots Henry! I swear that Dino is one of the prettiest cars of all time! I also like the wheels on the slr, almost like a turboprop. Hadn't seen a closeup yet.
To Art, Fletcher Jones have a HUGE MBZ dealership in Newport Beach (70+ service bay), the museum-like dealership probaply the biggest MBZ dealership in the US. He also have several dealerships in Las Vegas. He told me that he have 9 allocations for the SLR in the next 4 years, considering only 200 SLRs are made worldwide.
great pics. I lived down in Socal for 15 years, up and down the beach areas. Your pics made me miss the scene down there.
The SoCal bunch are great, I stoped in at Crystal Cove a few months back, and was welcomed with open arms. Did you get to meet Armen or Rick?
Yes, bought the 512m from Armen (AG512BBi). Now he wants it back. I'll trade his Enzo for my M, I told him.
I thought it looked familiar! Armen's a class act. He still has the 288GTO with F40 turbos. I think the M for Enzo is more than fair of you. See if you can get the 288 as part of the trade. It's an old car, it can't be worth much...
Agreed, the Dino has the nicest lines this side of the P4 in my opinion. How does the SLR look in real life? Does the extended hood look less atrocious than the pics?
Seem like the dimensions of the SLR is similar to the 612 Scaglietti- Looong hoodline to contain all that montrous engines , the hood length on both cars is more than half the length of the car. Henry
LOL, Have you seen Armen's F-cars collection? Check out his profile (ag512bbi). At one time, he had a McLaren F1.
